The two-week Flora
Fest 2007 celebration kicked off with a
Florathon on Saturday 20 January 2007.
Florathon is a brisk 3km walk and
participants were judged not by speed but
rather by their floral-themed costumes.
The Minister of Tourism Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor flaged off the Florathon at Dataran Merdeka , while the Minister of Federal Territories Dato’ Haji Zulhasnan Rafique presented the prizes to the winners.
